Elbow

Tennis elbow, medically known as lateral epicondylitis, is a common condition characterised by pain and tenderness on the outer part of the elbow. Despite its name, tennis elbow can affect anyone, not just tennis players, and is typically caused by repetitive motion and overuse of the forearm muscles and tendons, particularly those involved in gripping and wrist extension.

Golfer's elbow, also known as medial epicondylitis, is a common condition characterised by pain and tenderness on the inner side of the elbow, near the bony bump called the medial epicondyle. Despite its name, golfer's elbow can affect individuals who participate in a variety of activities that involve repetitive gripping, wrist flexion, and forearm rotation, not just golfers.
